Meningitis Victim's Widow Welcomes New Addition


The Coloradoan in Fort Collins reports that Bill Jubert of Bellvue died Monday after a series of strokes. Joy Jubert says her husband had recently been diagnosed with vasculitis, an inflammation of blood vessels.
Jubert was the third person who played in the game to die after contracting meningitis.cctv cameras Twenty-nine-year-old Brian Wormus and 28-year-old Nick Smith both died in June.pumpabc

Smith's wife Heather was stunned to hear of Jubert's death. While still grieving her own loss,cctv ccd camera she now has joyful news in her family after she gave birth to a little boy.
Heather was six months pregnant when Nick died.

"If it were up to me,floorsocks I would want to lay on the floor and cry all the time," Heather said.
Heather was understandably distraught when CBS4's Suzanne McCarroll first talked to her after her husband died.

"This is William Dean and he is doing really great,plug2010" Heather said as she introduced her newborn to McCarroll.
His nickname is Liam, which Nick and Heather chose just days before Nick died.

"When I look at him I see a lot of Nick's expressions, and especially when I see his little dimples showing, then I really see his dad."
Liam arrived just two weeks ago and Heather is adapting to life as a new mom and a single parent remarkably well.

"I think the hardest part is starting the grief over, missing Nick, because he's missing this."

Liam often goes to sleep hearing stories about his father, who Heather is certain watches over him.

"I know that he's so proud of this little boy and so delighted."
Heather treasures all the pictures of Nick. She wants to provide a happy house for Liam. While the upcoming holidays could be viewed as the first without Nick, she plans to embrace them as the first with their new son.
