A family business celebrating its 20th birthday this year has made it into the top 20 of the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100.

He said: “I’m very pleased indeed. We have seen some rather significant growth levels over the last three years and it’s continuing now.

“We have a new warehouse in Earley which we took on a couple of months ago and we are looking at some national advertising and possibly a venture into retail, but nothing confirmed as yet.”

Kishore’s road to success began when he dropped out of university and started working in his father’s shop.

“I’d never worked in a jewellers before so I’m self taught but it wasn’t long before I became known for good customer service.

“The main thing is that our customers were recommending us to their friends and family and that really got the business going.”

Kishore joined the business when he was 23.

He said: “Initially, I worked in SDK as a salesperson before I started on the internet. My ambition was retail but I’m from a computer background having programmed pretty much all my life so it kind of fitted all together.”
