Blacksburg's Hames was hard for coaches
No one from Blacksburg High School had made the team since Doug Bolin did it in 1986. But Hames put up some numbers that were hard for any coach to ignore.
Hames rushed for 2,157 yards and 26 touchdowns during his senior season at the 1A school and landed a spot on the South Carolina roster.
