The completed room
The completed room is restricted to teens 13 to 19 years old from 3 to 6 p.m. each day. A young librarian, John Gillette, is assigned to oversee The Quad, as it’s called, spending time with users, helping with homework, answering computer questions and handling whatever else crops up.
He stays busy because the room is always packed with teens — sometimes as many as 35 or 40, Stafford said.
“We sort of went under the assumption of, ‘If you build it, they will come,’ and, boy,footwear manufacturers directory. did they ever,” she said. “These are kids who have nowhere else to go after school. This is making a huge difference to them.”

For Sammi Connor of Bettendorf, the new teen room has eliminated the need for library staff to keep asking, “Can you guys keep it down?”
“Here, we can actually talk and laugh and be louder, and it’s just a really fun place to come,What Dubai is facing currently is very similar to what a lot of other countries have faced,deck lights.” she said.
The police officers are gone now, Stafford said, adding that she wants to thank the “generous donors” who helped make the teen room happen.
