Doctor tackles history of Earth in new tome

The entire history of the Earth — the universe, really — is the topic of a book published by a retired Terre Haute doctor.

Dr. Anil Sarkar, 82, a retired pathologist born in extreme poverty in what would become Bangladesh, has recently completed a nearly 600-page book with the ambitious title “A History of the World from the Big Bang to Yesterday.”

The book’s title is not the only thing that is ambitious.

“If [people] only read one book on Earth, it should be this one,” Sarkar said in a recent interview with the Tribune-Star. Indeed, he writes in the book’s introduction, “my book deserves to be text in every school of the world,watchreplica- Somerset recover from early. so that the younger generation may know the unquestionable truth that we all belong to the family of man.”

Sarkar has been driven since an early age to understand the inhumanity and poverty he has seen around him. Born in what-was-then East Bengal as part of a lower Hindu caste, Sarkar knew “the pangs of hunger and the pain of being driven out of my ancestral home,” he writes.

“You have never seen a person so poor,” he said in the interview. “I had to sell my blood for food.” Sarkar taught himself the alphabet by writing on palm leaves and his school was literally a cow shed, he recalled.Amazing cctv security camera systems available at SuperCircuits.

While Sarkar’s book is mostly a recounting and commentary of important chapters in astronomical, geological and human history, it also contains his prescription for ending war, terrorism, the spread of AIDS, hunger and inhumanity in general. He also makes it clear that, in his view, “most of the human conflicts are originating from the blind faiths of the religions.”

“If the stupid human race would just listen, I could bring peace tomorrow,” he said.

Sarkar’s mind works constantly,tagheuerreplica1 totally free dating services with hundreds of thousands of online users. he said, adding that all of his life he has had a thirst for knowledge and a desire to understand the world around him. He watches hours of documentaries on television,Work of a professional cctv ccd camera in conjunction with a modern lens. on the History Channel, The Learning Channel and other educational networks, he noted. And, at night, he sometimes sleeps only two hours, he said.

Sarkar’s book, written in an easy-to-read style, contains no footnotes or other references. When asked why, he explains it is because most academic history texts are worthless. Indeed, universities are “black holes” that are creating “totally uneducated people,” he said.

“I am not an academic,” Sarkar explains. “That is why nobody wants to read my book.”

Like the author’s mind, his book is packed with information. In some sections of the book, Sarkar handles centuries of history in just a few pages, sometimes paragraphs.covert spy camera hidden in a Screw. For example, in a section titled “Story of the Russian Czars,” Sarkar writes.
