Walsh says he was notified by e-mail this morning (Monday) that he can resume coaching his midget Peterborough Minor Hockey Association team. OMHA executive director Richard Ropchan confirmed today that Walsh had been notified of his reinstatement, but provided little detail to as of why the OMHA reversed their decision.

In the release, the team also thanked all its supporters.
"The outpouring of support from our community and people across the country has been truly humbling. Your voice does make a difference. To our local and national media, thank-you for bringing this issue to the public’s ear."
The team e-mail also attached this morning's letter from the OMHA.
